About the Foundation

What is the Learning 4 All Foundation?

The Learning 4 All Foundation is a fundraising foundation dedicated to ensuring every student has access to equal learning opportunities. Our goal is to provide resources, programs, and tools that enrich schools and support students and staff.

What areas do you serve?

We are currently focused on publc elementary schools in Newmarket, . Our future goal is to expand across York Region and eventually the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in the coming years.

Are you a registered charity?

Learning 4 All Foundation is a registered fund with Charitable Gift Funds Canada. All eligible donations receive a tax receipt provided by Charitable Gift Funds Canada.

How can I donate?

You can support us in three ways:

  • Online (secure payment portal)

  • By cheque

  • In-kind Share Donations

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Yes, all eligible donations receive a charitable tax receipt from Charitable Gift Funds Foundation

Can I direct my donation to a specific project?

 Absolutely. You can choose to support a specific initiative, such as the Accessible Playground, field trip funding, or technology and music programs.

How can I get involved as a volunteer?

You can join us in fundraising campaigns, outreach, and school-based initiatives. Visit our “Volunteer” page to sign up.

Do I need special skills to volunteer?

Not at all! We welcome anyone who is passionate about education and equity. Whether you want to help at events, spread awareness, or share professional expertise, there’s a place for you.

What projects are coming up?

Once our current campaigns are complete, we plan to expand our support to other schools in Newmarket, then York Region, and eventually across the GTA.

How do you ensure donations are used responsibly?

We are committed to transparency. Each year we will publish how much funds were raised and how much was donated to the school system, including what was donated for.

How can I see the impact of my donation?

You can follow updates on our “Impact” page, which highlights milestones, project updates, and testimonials from students and staff.

How are funds distributed?

Our funds are distributed in two ways. For larger projects, we raise the full amount and then donate it once the fundraising goal is met (e.g., the Accessible Playground). For ongoing needs like school field trips, we raise pooled funds that are distributed throughout the year.

Do you have a long-term fundraising goal?

Yes. Our aim is to raise $1,000,000, which will allow us to sustain a payout ratio of 5–7% annually to support schools and students.

Do you make any money or take fees from donations?

No. The Learning 4 All Foundation and all those involved volunteer their time and energy to supporting the school system. We take no management fees on the funds collected. The only costs are operating and administrative fees required by Charitable Gift Funds Canada (our gift fund partner), more information can be found on the FAQ section of our Donation Page which is run by Charitable Gift Funds Canada.
